"JELLY" is a fashion magazine first launched as a special issue of "Ranzuki" in April 2005, intended as its older-sister publication, and then became independently published in April 2006.

Targeted at young women in their teens and twenties, JELLY promotes casual styles and is still widely popular among young people today.

Initially, JELLY's theme was "cool casual fashion," featuring many street and mode styles, which contributed to its reputation as a gyaru fashion magazine.

This time, let’s introduce some of the popular models, known as “Jeriga” (exclusive JELLY models), who were once active in JELLY!

Maiko Takahashi (Maichi)

Born April 1, 1985.

Maiko Takahashi, affectionately called "Maichi," was immensely popular as the "face of JELLY" from its initial issues.

Rather than cool casual fashion, Maichi suited girly styles with vintage mixes.

With her adorable looks and outstanding style, she made every genre look stylish.

She appeared in the music video for the song “KO.A.KU.MA,” a collaboration by LGYankees, GIPPER, and NOA released in 2008, which generated significant buzz.

For about seven years, she energized the magazine as an exclusive JELLY model before graduating in 2012.

She then modeled for JELLY’s sister magazine, "Gina."

Currently, she shares her stylish daily outfits on social media.

Maya Mori (Morimaya)

Born November 23, 1985.

Maya Mori, known as "Morimaya," was active as an exclusive JELLY model from its inaugural issue (April 2005).

She was a lead model alongside Maichi, and often served as the image model for cosmetics and apparel brands, establishing her name as a "charismatic gyaru model" in the gyaru world.

Before becoming an exclusive JELLY model, she was known as "Mayaya" and was active as a reader model for "egg" and as an exclusive model for JELLY's sister magazine, "Ranzuki."

During her Ranzuki days, she was one of the three iconic models, along with Asupon (Asuka Hara) and Tamochin (Tomoko Tamogami).

Until she graduated from JELLY in 2015, she had married, given birth to two children, and established herself as a mother.

After graduation, she worked as a fashion brand producer and made appearances on television.

In February 2021, she launched her own fashion brand "SIC SIC," and is currently active as both a producer and mom model.

Yuki Yamamoto

Born February 9, 1987.

Yuki Yamamoto, who was also active on television as a celebrity talent, served as a JELLY model for about 14 years, from the magazine’s launch in 2005 until 2019, garnering considerable support.

Yuki’s specialty was cool casual and mode fashion, and her high-tone short hair suited her style so well that fans often imitated it.

In October 2010, she married actor Riki Miura, and they now have two children.

In March 2019, she graduated from JELLY, and in December of the same year, she launched an online select shop called "OKu'."

Currently, she serves as the director of "OKu'" and also pursues her creative talent for painting.

Mana Honda

Born February 24, 1987.

Mana Honda started as an exclusive model for JELLY in 2006.

At 164 cm, she was relatively tall among JELLY models.

She often represented sexy fashion for the magazine, frequently wearing sexy and revealing dresses from brands like Lip Service.

Her glamorous style, often seen on the cover in eye-catching outfits, captivated many readers.

After about eight years, Mana graduated from JELLY in the February 2014 issue. You can see her current updates on social media.

Other models who also helped boost JELLY’s popularity during the same period included:
